So, I started my day picking out the most inappropriate shoes for narvigating the icey roads. I'll post the shoes. Cape Breton must be to poor to afford salt for the roads/sidewalk because instead of salt the ice was sprinkled with gravel. Who decided this? Now instead of simply slipping and falling on ice we get to fall on sharp rocks. Brilliant! I can't even begin to explain how horrible it was. Anyway, I survived. I spent the past hour or so discussing the influence of social networking on the lives of people today in Anthro/Soc. It influenced me to immediately check my facebook and update my blog for he first time in forever. Not much to say but oh well!
